Essay Body Paragraph One

I have encountered many struggles during my time at school before I got to where I am now. One of the greatest struggles I have encountered, and still suffering from, is my slightly bad memory. I have a habit of being told to do something, saying that I will do it, and not doing it because I forgot. I forget to do something and remember the last second before it is actually due, like a printed out essay for example. I have plenty of things that also draw my attention and make me forget things easily, like video games and the internet. I have gotten really far in life with this terrible habit, and I believe that I can go even farther when I learn to shake it.

Upcoming OGTs

My OGTs have been coming up, an I feel ready for all of the courses except one of them, Science. There are a few reasons that I feel slightly unprepared for this than the rest. One of those reasons are the questions themselves. If personal experience says anything, it says that the questions for science has always been confusingly worded. These questions are always paired up with odd charts and graphs that should make it less complicated, but it does not, if anything it makes things more complicated. I feel like these questions are more difficult for me because I do not practice with these kinds of questions often enough. I could fix that by actually studying with these kinds of questions.
Another reason why I feel less prepared is because of all of the confusing terms and values I have to remember, including metric values that have to do with distance. First, there are a lot of terms that I must remember for the test. I will forget what some things mean and I'm going to be forced to guess on the question and come back to second-guess myself. Next, metric distance, one of the most confusing things for me to remember. I need to remember how much kilo is, and certain things that have to do with yards and meters. I can, and will, look over different terms on flashcards and test myself with them. I can also do that with the metric distance units.
I will be taking my OGTs are coming up soon, and I will make sure that I am ready for when that day comes.
