My Secret

Dear Ellen,
I have some thing to tell you, my dear wife. Ever since I went to Calinfornia, all those 7 months ago, much has happened, both good and bad, but allow me to start with the good. I have bought Crystal, your adorable Corgie  that you and I both love so much, a new little sweater vest. I got her some little booties that match with the vest, it looks amazing, I tagged a photo to this email.
But now for the bad news so brace yourself. I am sad to say that our little furry friend has gone somewhere, somewhere that we will not be able to see her for a while. She left us without even a goodbye. Yes, I am afraid that your mom followed me out to here. She took Crystal and is holding her for ransom, in eschange of you. That crazy woman can not handle us being together. Whelp, I will send you more letters soon, but I need to get to the bottom of this.

Reflected!

Being rejected is not fun, I would know. I have been rejected so many times in my life that it hardly affects me, but being rejected is upsetting.  You feel like you've done something that makes people not like you, like picked your nose or acted like a jerk, and now they feel like not hanging around you. Other times you're rejected because people don not se you as "cool" enough to be their friends or to hang around them. Say that I, a "not so cool dude", walks up to a table of other kids and  I sit down with them. Now all of the other children have gotten up and walked over to the other empty table. Now I feel really left out and like nobody wants me around.
Rejecting people makes the rejected one feel really upset, or really mad. Would you want to be rejected? I do not think so.

Horror Story Elements

Of the three horror story elements, atmosphere, action and supernatural, I think that atmosphere is the most important and impacting element to any horror story.
In my opinion, I believe that atmosphere is the most important, and effective, element because it sets the mood for the rest of the story. You cannot simply have a story about a massive zombie monster with an inviting atmosphere, you need the reader to feel as if they are in the lab of a psychotic madman. The Mary Shelley does a phanomanal job on the atmosphere of her book, Frankenstein, or a Modern Day Prometheus. The way she introduces the setting and the current conflict for Frankenstein.

Promises

There have been times where I have made a promise to someone and I did not go through with it, my parents have done it plenty of times as well.
One time, my parents promised me that they would get me what i wanted for Christmas, it was a Wii with one of the newest games. They told me weeks prior that they would get this for me. They told me this so much, but they did not get it for me for Christmas. In fact, I did not get anything for Christmas that year, my brother and sister got what they wanted, but I did not get my gift that they promised. They said that if they did my gift that they would be in dept for the next month, since rent was due the next week. I did end up getting it for my birthday, but they promised me this weeks in advance and they did not pull through.
Everybody makes promises, and everyone breaks them as well. There are some times when you promise someone something important, but something more important gets in the way of that.

Desperate Measures

Everybody has been in some sort of unfix-able situation before. Some kind of problem that is broken beyond prepared, and the only thing to do was to wing it.
When I was 10, I was always getting picked on at school. Other kids would just pick on me and call me names, and I never understood why. One day, I was walking home from school and some kids decided to follow me home. It was the middle of winter and it was freezing cold, so the kids started throwing snowballs at me. I was just pushing through the pain until I was able to get to my friend's house and tell his mom that the bullies were picking on me.
I was halfway down the street and the bullies would not stop calling me names and throwing balls of snow and ice at me, and my pants were starting to slip off. I started screaming curses at him and picking up larch rocks and throwing it at their heads. As I was doing that, I was crying and I was not paying attention to what was going on. When I opened my eyes, I saw my mom, she heard and saw the entire day. She thought that I was the bad guy, and I could not tell her truth because she would go to the bullies' house and scream at them. I just had to take the punishment that I was faced with.

Trust Me

I have had plenty of situations where I needed to trust someone dearly. When I was in the 6th grade, I was working on a project with a friend of mine. We needed to create a model of a cell on a board, mapping out all of the organelles (that we knew at the time). We were about halfway done with the project when him and his family had to go to Maryland for the weekend, and the project was due on Monday of the following week. I had to trust in my friend that he would finished the project on his own while he was gone. Thankfully, he was able to return to school on Monday, bringing the project to school complete and ready to present. It even had a bunch of organelles that we did't talk about in class, like the ribosomes and the vacuole. We got full credit, including some extra credit for going above and beyond. Unfortunately, that was a long time ago and I do not know what he does now, but I hope that he is doing well and and is living a happy life.

Essay Body Paragraph One

I have encountered many struggles during my time at school before I got to where I am now. One of the greatest struggles I have encountered, and still suffering from, is my slightly bad memory. I have a habit of being told to do something, saying that I will do it, and not doing it because I forgot. I forget to do something and remember the last second before it is actually due, like a printed out essay for example. I have plenty of things that also draw my attention and make me forget things easily, like video games and the internet. I have gotten really far in life with this terrible habit, and I believe that I can go even farther when I learn to shake it.
